Michael Skinner
For over 20 years, Michael Skinner was the magician in residence at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada. He studied under Eddie Fechter, and then later with Dai Vernon. He also made two guest appearances on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show.
Skinner was considered one of the finest sleight of hand artists in the last 100 years.
Watch him perform his handling for Martin Gardner’s All the Nonconformists. Mike’s explanation appears on Michael Skinner’s Professional Close-Up Magic Vol. 3. Unfortunately, this clip cuts off the last phase when all the cards are shown to have red backs.
