Paul Daniels
Paul Daniels Magician (born 1938) is a UK magician from Middlesbrough. He achieved international fame from his long running television show, “The Paul Daniels Magic Show”, which BBC aired for 14 years from 1979-94. Paul knew he wanted to be a professional since the age of 11 after reading How to Entertain at Parties. Paul was posted in Hong Kong during World War II. Upon returning he opened a grocery store which he left behind to pursue his growing career as a magician.
In 1983 was the first magician outside the United States to be awarded the Magic Castle’s prestigious ‘Magician of the Year’ Award.
Paul is an expert on Max Malini and has a live show in which he explores Max’s magic. This show is available on DVD.
